With a name like 'Caveparty', you’d expect two things: 1) that the band members are going to resemble some sort of neanderthals, and 2) when they’re told they’re going to be playing EBGBs - one of the most cave-like venues in the Liverpool music scene - they better bring the Party to the Cave. Therefore I, as a witness, am happy to announce that they did, in fact, live up to the (thankfully) latter expectation.
Nestled on the corner of Victoria Street, holding its own next to the Noodle Bar next door and Mr. Caps (previously Kosy’s Bar) just down the road, The 27 Club is a chic little venue where the bands mix with the audience and the audience mix with the bands.
